It runs a complete purchase through your store using the same WooCommerce hooks a real order fires. No money moves: the order is for a hidden test product with a 100%-off test coupon, paid through a built-in test payment rail that never touches your real gateway.

Good to know
Stated plainly, so nobody signs up for the wrong thing.
- It does not catch breakage that only happens in the shopper’s browser. If the order pipeline is healthy but the Checkout Block’s JavaScript is broken, the check stays green.
- It runs inside WordPress, so it cannot report a site that is down, or a DNS or certificate outage. Keep an uptime monitor for that.

Questions
Will customers ever see the test product?
No. It is created hidden and virtual, and exists only so the test order has something to buy.
Does it charge a card or call my payment gateway?
No. The order totals £0 and is paid through a test payment rail inside the plugin. Your live gateway is never called.
Can I prove it works before I trust it?
Yes. Pro includes a fault-injection harness: drop one file into mu-plugins, run a check and watch it fail on the step that file broke. Remove it and the next run goes green.
